Welcome to GEMS Girls' Clubs,
a relationship-building club program created especially for girls and offered through local churches and other Christian organizations. At club, girls have the opportunity to participate in:
Making new friends and being part of a caring small group
Getting to know--really know--Jesus
Dynamic Worship and learning actions and creative movements to songs
Studying God's Word--the Bible
Making crafts that encourage others and having fun and playing games
Learning how to become an activist for Christ
Doing service projects that help people around the world.
Through these exciting activities, counselors (adult leaders) build affirming and encouraging relationships with the girls in their small groups of six to eight girls. Each club level is designed to meet the spiritual, social, physical, and emotional needs of the girls in those developmental stages! Girls learn how to apply the lessons of the Bible to their own lives and discover answers for the challenges facing them today.
The name GEMS stands for Girls Everywhere Meeting the Saviour. The program has been offered to girls across North America for over fifty years. The goal of the ministry and each club is to bring girls into a living dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ. Today there are more than 23,000 girls who are members of Gems Girls' Clubs with over 5,200 women enthusiasically serving as counselors.
