Every Sunday during our Worship Service
For Children Preschool - Grade 6
Children matter at Maranatha - they are a valuable part of the church body!
The focus of our Sunday School is to teach our children Biblical truth in a way that encourages them to know Jesus and follow Him. We also desire to equip them to share their faith with the people around them at home, at school, or anywhere else they may go!
How it Works
All children in Preschool through Grade 6, including visitors, are invited to join us every Sunday for Sunday School.
After a time of praise and worship as part of the congregation, our children are dismissed and gather together downstairs for a special time of Bible teaching. First, we listen to a Bible story and sing some songs. Next, the children separate into smaller groups according to their age to dig more deeply into the Bible story. Parents then can pick up their children downstairs after the service.
If your child is not quite old enough for Sunday School, nursery is available during the Sunday morning service. Please sign your child in at the Nursery station upstairs and pick them up after the service.
God's Great Big Story
This year, our kids have fun learning how the Bible is not a collection of individual stories, but actually, one great story: the story of Jesus and His plan of redemption for His creation! Taught by passionate volunteers and working through The Gospel Project for Kids, Sunday School is a fun time for every child.
