The Maranatha CRC Council has decided to hire a part-time Youth worker specifically devoted to Junior and Senior High School teenagers.

We are looking for someone to start in September 2023 for a term until May/June 2024 for 8-10 hours a week. This person would be responsible for setting up weekly events, leading a devotional, and developing one-on-one relationships with the youth in the church.

The hours could be quite flexible. This person would work for a few hours either the week before or on the Monday, setting up an event and then host the youth at the church on Tuesday. However, development of a regular schedule would be expected to be set up and maintained.

The person applying would need to demonstrate: 
*A strong commitment to Christ and His Church.
*A sense that this is something God is calling them to do.
*An understanding and appreciation of the Reformed worldview.
*An ability to connect with young people.
*Strong leadership skills. 
*Good events take commitment and organization. This person needs to show that they can be organized and has some experience setting up events.
*Help facilitate the Safe Church Policy as it pertains to Maranatha’s youth ministry and its volunteers.

This person would be under the supervision of the Church Elders and the involved parents.
